Choc Chip Cookies
The last week or so I have been in a baking slump. I think it's because I had such an influx of baking items in one weekend (dark chocolate raspberry tart and vanilla cake) now I don't know what I feel like baking. Even with my new Mastering the Art of Baking book I don't know what to make. I want a simple, mid-week treat. Then this morning I got a lovely update from BraveTart all about Chocolate Chip Cookies and I knew that's what I have to make this week (or weekend depending on how my week pans out). She gives readers 10 tips to try when making choc chip cookies and I can't wait to try them. My favourites: add a pinch of nutmeg to the cookie dough, and garnish still warm cookies with extra chocolate. The chocolate will only partially melt giving your cookies a nice garnish. If you love choc chip cookies, or any sort of cookie, take a look at BraveTarts tips and you can try them with your favourite cookie recipe. Watch this space for a choc chip cookie post!!

I made chocolate chip cookies the instant I saw that post on Bravetart. I'm actually posting them this week. It was such excellent advice!
ReplyDeleteThanks. I just posted this morning about a batch I made. Look forward to reading about yours
